A. Information Collected by the Rankyfy Browser Extension Suite

  • YouTube Video & Channel Metadata (Public Data): When you browse YouTube, the extension reads public video metadata (title, description, tags, categories, views, likes, and comments) and public channel metadata (handle, subscriber count, total videos) to calculate SEO scores.
  • Authentication Information & Session Syncing: To link the extension to your Rankyfy subscription, we securely sync your authentication token (JWT) and cookies from the rankyfy.com domain.
  • Google Maps & Local Business Data (Public Data): When using the "Rankyfy - Local Business Finder" extension, the extension reads public local business listings (including business names, physical addresses, phone numbers, website URLs, ratings, and reviews count) from Google Maps search results to compile local lead generation reports directly for the user.
  • Local Storage Data: We utilize chrome.storage.local to securely cache your login token, session ID, and UI configuration settings directly on your device.
  • Usage & Telemetry Data: We collect minimal diagnostic events (e.g., buttons clicked, CSVs exported, keyword tool requests, and client-side exceptions) coupled with a session ID or account ID to enforce API rate limits and monitor service reliability.

B. Information Collected via our Website & Dashboard
